वीजा आवेदकों के लिए नई बायोमेट्रिक प्रणाली और एक नई वीजा सुविधा शुरू करने का हुआ ऐ’ला’न
दुबई में दूतावास और वाणिज्य दूतावास में जल्द ही नई बायोमेट्रिक प्रणाली होगी लागू
उन्होंने कहा, “इस देश में रहने वाले किसी भी अमीराती नागरिक को पांच साल के एकाधिक-प्रवेश पर्यटक और व्यावसायिक वीजा जारी करना है। इससे हमारे अमीराती मित्रों के लिए बहुत आसान हो जाएगा। भारत में अक्सर यात्री आते हैं लेकिन जो अक्सर कहते हैं कि वे अल्पकालिक या एकल-प्रवेश वीजा के कारण खुद को हैंडीकैपेड समझते हैं।”
राजदूत ने रेखांकित किया कि संयुक्त अरब अमीरात-भारत संबंधों का स्तर नई ऊंचाइयों पर है। “कल (गुरुवार), पहली बार, NASDAQ दुबई स्टॉक एक्सचेंज ने मुझे औपचारिक रूप से घंटी बजाने और पृष्ठभूमि में तिरंगे के साथ व्यापारिक सत्र खोलने के लिए आमंत्रित किया। जहां हमने भारतीय राष्ट्रगान गाया गया।”
उन्होंने कहा, “और जब आज शाम को बुर्ज खलीफा भारतीय रंगों के साथ तीसरी बार जलाया जाएगा, तो यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि इस रिश्ते ने इतने कम समय में कितनी दूर की यात्रा की है। इसका श्रेय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और उनके पास जाता है।”
भारतीय ध्वज को फहराने के बाद समुदाय के सदस्यों को संबोधित करते हुए, उन्होंने कहा कि मिशन नागरिकों द्वारा सामना किए गए प्रत्येक मुद्दे का समाधान खोजने की कोशिश में अतिरिक्त मील जाता है।
“हमारे पास हमारे व्यापारियों और श्रमिकों द्वारा सामना की जाने वाली हर समस्या का समाधान नहीं है, लेकिन सरकार और स्थानीय अधिकारियों के साथ संवाद करने का पूरा प्रयास करते हैं, और एक रास्ता निकालते हैं। हम यह सुनिश्चित करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ेंगे कि हम अपने कूटनीतिक सीमा के दायरे में सर्वश्रेष्ठ काम करें। हमारे पास प्रत्येक कार्य दिवस पर सुबह 9 बजे से दोपहर 12.30 बजे तक ‘ओपन हाउस’ रहता है।
The Indian government has introduced five-year multiple-entry tourist and business visas for Emirati citizens, a top envoy said on Thursday.
Indian Ambassador to the UAE Navdeep Singh Suri, while marking the 73rd Indian Independence Day at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi announced the new biometric system for visa applicants and the introduction of a new visa facility.
“What this will enable us to do, in keeping with government guidelines, is to readily issue five-year multiple-entry tourist and business visas to any Emirati citizen who lives in this country. This will make it much easier for our Emirati friends who are frequent travellers to India but who often say that they are handicapped by short-term or single-entry visas.” The new biometric system will be soon in place at the embassy and Consulate in Dubai.
‘Bilateral ties at new high’
The ambassador underlined that the level of the UAE-India ties was at new heights. “Yesterday (Thursday), for the first time ever, the NASDAQ Dubai Stock Exchange invited me to ceremonially ring the bell and open the trading session with the tricolour in the background. The Indian national anthem was sung.”
He added, “And when Burj Khalifa will be lit for the third time with Indian colours this evening, it reminds us how far this relationship has travelled in such a short span of time. A lot of credit goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his own personal friendship with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.”
‘All-out effort to help citizens’
Addressing the community members after unfurling Indian flag, he noted that the mission goes the extra mile in trying to find solutions to each issue faced by the citizens.
“We don’t have a solution to every problem faced by our businessmen and workers but make full effort to communicate with the government and local authorities, and find a way out. We will leave no stone unturned to make sure that we do our very best within the limits of diplomatic limits. We have an ‘Open House’ from 9 am to 12.30 pm every working day.”
