Madhubani District Magistrate issues instructions for heavy rains and water logging

Alert instructions to panchayat representatives and SDRF

All Block Development Officers have been instructed to alert all Panchayati Raj representatives in their areas. The DM has emphasized the need for immediate action at the panchayat level. Similarly, the SDRF teams have been instructed to stay in potentially flood-affected areas and closely monitor the situation. Constant coordination with the Water Resources Department and the SDRF team is expected from all BDOs and COs.

The DM has made it clear that negligence or laxity in disaster response will not be tolerated. The public is urged to be cautious, alert, and disregard rumors.
