Roshan Kumar Sah, a resident of Gurudwara Road, has allegedly cheated Rs 33 lakh 70 thousand in the name of selling land. He filed a complaint against Smita Soren and her husband Rahul Sinha, accusing them of the fraud.

Accused Absconded with Money and Threatened the Victim

Roshan stated that after receiving the money, when he pressured the accused to register the land, they ran away and threatened him. He claimed that Smita’s husband, Rahul, even threatened to implicate him in a false case if he demanded the money back. The victim also mentioned that he was threatened with physical harm.

The Kotwali police station registered a case and assigned Inspector Rahul Kumar as the investigating officer. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
