Upcoming 400 to 450 cc Bikes Launching in India

• The 400 to 450 cc segment will see several new bike launches in India in the next year.
• Upcoming models include the Triumph Scrambler 400X, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, and Vitpilen 401.
• These bikes will offer off-roading capabilities, improved performance, and new features.

1. Triumph Scrambler 400X

• The Triumph Scrambler 400X will be launched in India in October 2023.
• It will feature a 398cc liquid-cooled engine producing around 40 PS of power and 37.5 Nm of torque.
• The bike will have off-roading capabilities with a long wheelbase, high ground clearance, and block pattern tires.

2. New Generation KTM 390 Duke and RC390

• The third generation KTM 390 Duke and RC390 will be launched in India in late 2023 or early 2024.
• These bikes will come with new styling, a bigger engine, and mechanical improvements.
• The RC390 will also receive updates and is expected to arrive in showrooms in the second half of 2024.

3. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

• The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will be introduced in November 2023.
• It will be priced around Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and powered by a 450 cc liquid-cooled engine.
• The bike will feature LED lighting, a digital cluster, and upside-down front forks.

4. Royal Enfield Hunter 450

• The Royal Enfield Hunter 450, inspired by the Hunter 350, is expected to launch in early 2024.
• It will compete with bikes like the Triumph Speed 400, BMW G310R, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Honda CB300R.
• The Hunter 450 will share the same 450 cc liquid-cooled engine as the Himalayan 450.

5. Hero 440cc Bike (Based on Harley-Davidson X440)

• Hero MotoCorp will launch a new bike based on the Harley-Davidson X440 platform by the end of this financial year.
• The bike will have a 440 cc, single-cylinder, oil and air-cooled engine generating 27 PS of power and 38 Nm of torque.
• It will feature a 6-speed gearbox and take design inspiration from the Yamaha MT-01.
