MLC Radhacharan Seth and Son Kanhaiya Interrogated by ED in Illegal Sand Business Case
Patna. JDU’s MLC and MLC Radhacharan Seth, known as Sethji, is not taking the name of reducing the difficulties. A few days ago the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate raided their locations from Patna to Arrah and Noida to Gurgaon and now ED has interrogated Radha Charan Seth as well as his son Kanhaiya in the illegal business of sand. For this, ED office located in Patna has been called, that too within fifteen days. In this regard, ED has sent a notice to both of them.
According to information received from ED sources, Radha Charan Seth is accused of promoting illegal business of sand in association with sand mafia in Bihar. The evidence of this was also obtained by ED by raiding various locations of Radha Charan Seth in the past. In June this year, the ED raided different locations of Seth and his other partners. Earlier in the month of February, the Income Tax Department had raided Seth’s house in the tax evasion case. Many important revelations were made in the Income Tax Department’s raid which lasted for three days.
The Income Tax team had raided more than 22 locations in total, after which the Income Tax Department team had lodged an FIR at Bihta police station. It should also be mentioned further that the Income Tax Department team has also found evidence of illegal mining and black money from the sand ghats. It has also been told that in the investigation of the Income Tax Department, it was revealed that Radhacharan Sah alias Seth ji used to invest Balu’s earnings in the hotel. From Arrah’s Regal Hotel, Regal Resort to Manali’s Mystic Ground Resort and Haridwar’s Hotel and Resort, he used to invest his hard-earned money. However, now when ED will interrogate these two, the reality will come out.

ईडी स्रोतों से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, राधाचरण सेठ को बिहार में बालू माफिया के साथ गैरकानूनी बालू व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने का आरोप लगाया जाता है। इसके सबूत को ईडी ने पिछले कुछ स्थानों पर रेड करके भी प्राप्त किया था। इस साल जून में, ईडी ने सेठ और उनके अन्य साथियों के विभिन्न स्थानों पर छापेमारी की थी। इससे पहले फरवरी महीने में, आयकर विभाग ने टैक्स उल्लंघन के मामले में सेठ के घर पर छापेमारी की थी। तीन दिन तक चली आयकर विभाग की छापेमारी में कई महत्वपूर्ण खुलासे हुए थे।
आयकर टीम ने कुल मिलाकर 22 स्थानों पर छापेमारी की थी, इसके बाद आयकर विभाग टीम ने बिहटा पुलिस स्टेशन में एफआईआर दर्ज की थी। इसे आगे भी उल्लेख किया जाना चाहिए कि आयकर विभाग टीम ने बालू घाटों से गैरकानूनी खदान और काला धन के सबूत भी पाए हैं। यह भी बताया गया है कि आयकर विभाग की जांच में पता चला कि राधाचरण साह अलियास सेठ जी बालू की कमाई को होटल में निवेश करते थे। आरा के रीगल होटल से मनाली के मिस्टिक ग्राउंड रिज़ॉर्ट और हरिद्वार के होटल और रिज़ॉर्ट तक, वह अपनी कठिनाई से कमाई हुई धन को निवेश करते थे। हालांकि, अब जब ईडी इन दोनों का पूछताछ करेगी, तो सच्चाई सामने आएगी।
