Collision between a Container and Scorpio Results in Seven Deaths in Bihar
A tragic accident occurred on NH 2 near Pakhnari petrol pump in Sasaram, Bihar, where a container collided with a Scorpio, resulting in the death of seven people, including three children and two women.
Family Coming from Bodh Gaya
The accident involved Sudeshwar Sharma and his family, who were traveling from Bodh Gaya to their village in Kuriyari. The Scorpio driver reportedly fell asleep, causing the collision with the container.
Delayed Response from Local Police
It is unfortunate that the local police took two hours to reach the accident site, while the patrolling vehicles of Dial 112 and Toll Plaza arrived within 30 minutes of being informed.
Hydra Vehicle Used to Remove Scorpio from Container
After the accident, the Scorpio became stuck in the container, and it took the assistance of a Hydra vehicle at the toll plaza to separate the two vehicles.
Death Toll and Injuries
- Six people lost their lives on the spot, while one person died during treatment at Sadar Hospital.
- Five individuals sustained severe injuries in the accident.
