Shopkeeper Shot Dead Near Bariyahi in Madhepura

– Miscreants have shot dead a shopkeeper near Bariyahi in Madhepura district.
– The victim, Jitan Rishidev, was running a small shop in Bariyahi when he was attacked.
– He was rushed to the Medical College but succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
– Police are investigating the incident.

Assault Case: Nominee Arrested in Bihariganj

– In Bihariganj, personnel from Nagar Panchayat Sanvdek, along with the conductor and attendant of a bus, assaulted the bus workers over a money dispute.
– The bus workers staged a three-hour protest, blocking the road at Shastri Chowk, Kushthan road.
– Other bus drivers also joined the protest by blocking the road at Gandhi Chowk.
– Passengers faced inconvenience due to the roadblock, which was cleared with the intervention of Police Station President Amit Kumar Rai.
– The conductor filed a case, stating that he was assaulted with sticks and iron rods by a group of youths, including the nominated Suraj Kumar.

Nagar Panchayat Chief Councilor Demands Action

– The conductor, Vimlesh Kumar, reported that he was dragged and beaten by the group of youths, who also snatched ten thousand rupees from him.
– The police have arrested Suraj Kumar based on the conductor’s complaint.
