Taking action in the past, Patna Municipal Corporation had removed the auto stand from Tata Park located near Patna Junction Golambar. There was a tussle between the auto union and the corporation administration regarding this. In protest against this decision, over 7,000 auto and e-rickshaw drivers going east from Patna junction Golambar have gone on strike for the last three days. Due to this, passengers are facing a lot of trouble. People have to walk from Patna Junction to Kankarbagh, Hanuman Nagar, and other areas.
Auto Operations to Remain Closed
In protest against this, auto operations will remain closed in Patna on 5th September. Along with auto drivers, e-rickshaw drivers and street vendors will also be on strike. Auto Sangh has announced this. They say that it is wrong to remove our stand by the Municipal Corporation without making alternative arrangements. On this, the Municipal Corporation has told that a stand is being constructed in two and a half acres for the operation of autos. Passengers will get the facility of auto from this new stand being prepared from GPO Golambar to platform number 1.
Capacity to Park 1,000 Autos
This path goes from near the mosque towards the station, from near the vegetable market towards the South Mithapur Railway Foot Overbridge of GPO Golambar. The same route will be selected and used for the new auto stand. There will be capacity to park more than 1,000 autos here. After this construction, the general public will get the facility of direct auto to go in different directions from the station.
Modern Facilities and Multi-Modal Hub
100/100 feet of land has also been marked on the right side of the foot overbridge, where modern toilets will be constructed. Built by Patna Municipal Corporation, this toilet will be equipped with all kinds of facilities and will use modern technology. A multi-modal hub is also being prepared by Patna Smart City Limited in Bakri Bazar complex near the station.
- The hub will have parking arrangements for a total of 300 vehicles.
- It will have bus, auto, e-rickshaw, and rental parking facilities.
- It will also have an e-charging station, cafeteria, ATM, retail shop, waiting area, ticket house, and basic facilities along with parking arrangements for private vehicles.
After this construction, the common man will get many types of facilities.

पटना। पिछले कार्यवाही में, पटना नगर निगम ने पटना जंक्शन गोलामबार के पास स्थित टाटा पार्क से ऑटो स्थान हटा दिया था। इसके संबंध में ऑटो संघ और नगर निगम प्रशासन के बीच झगड़ा हुआ था। इस निर्णय के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन के तहत, पिछले तीन दिनों से पटना जंक्शन गोलामबार से पूर्व की ओर जाने वाले 7,000 से अधिक ऑटो और ई-रिक्शा चालक हड़ताल पर गए हैं। इसके कारण यात्रियों को काफी परेशानी हो रही है। लोगों को पटना जंक्शन से कंकरबाग, हनुमान नगर और अन्य क्षेत्रों तक पैदल चलना पड़ रहा है।
इसके विरोध में, पटना में 5 सितंबर को ऑटो ऑपरेशन बंद रहेगा। ऑटो चालकों के साथ-साथ ई-रिक्शा चालक और सड़क विक्रेता भी हड़ताल पर होंगे। ऑटो संघ ने इसकी घोषणा की है। उनका कहना है कि अल्टरनेटिव व्यवस्था न करके नगर निगम द्वारा हमारे स्थान को हटाना गलत है। इस पर नगर निगम ने बताया है कि ऑटो के संचालन के लिए दो और आधी एकड़ जगह पर एक स्थान निर्मित किया जा रहा है। यह नया स्थान जीपीओ गोलामबार से प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर 1 तक की तैयारी हो रहा है।
यह मार्ग मस्जिद के पास से स्टेशन की ओर जाता है, सब्जी मंडी के पास से जीपीओ गोलामबार के साउथ मिठापुर रेलवे फुट ओवरब्रिज की ओर। नए ऑटो स्थान के लिए इसी मार्ग का चयन और उपयोग किया जाएगा। यहां यहां अधिकतम 1,000 ऑटो पार्क करने की क्षमता होगी। इस निर्माण के बाद, सामान्य जनता को स्टेशन से विभिन्न दिशाओं में सीधे ऑटो की सुविधा मिलेगी।
फुट ओवरब्रिज के दाहिने ओर 100/100 फीट भूमि भी चिह्नित की गई है, जहां आधुनिक स्वच्छता कक्ष निर्मित होंगे। पटना नगर निगम द्वारा निर्मित यह शौचालय सभी प्रकार की सुविधाओं से लैस होगा और आधुनिक तकनीक का उपयोग करेगा। पटना स्मार्ट सिटी लिमिटेड द्वारा स्टेशन के पास बकरी बाजार कॉम्प्लेक्स में भी एक मल्टी-मोडल हब तैयार की जा रही है।
आपको बताते हैं कि इस जी+2 इमारत वाले हब में कुल 300 वाहनों के पार्किंग इंतजाम होंगे। इसमें बस, ऑटो, ई-रिक्शा और किराये की पार्किंग सुविधाएं होंगी। साथ ही, इसमें ई-चार्जिंग स्टेशन, कैफेटीया, एटीएम, खुदरा दुकान, प्रतीक्षा क्षेत्र, टिकट हाउस और पार्किंग इंतजाम के साथ-साथ बुनियादी सुविधाएं भी होंगी। इस निर्माण के बाद आम जनता को कई प्रकार की सुविधाएं मिलेंगी।
