Hyundai Introduces ADAS Technology and New Transmission in Venue and Venue N Line

• Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced the launch of the 2023 Venue and Venue N Line with ADAS technology and a new transmission.
• The company aims to democratize advanced technologies in the country and has introduced Hyundai SmartSense (ADAS) technology in Venue and Venue N Line, making them the most affordable SUVs with ADAS in India.

Hyundai’s Commitment to Technological Advancements

• Speaking about the announcement, Mr. Tarun Garg, CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “Over the past two decades, Hyundai has been redefining the experiential journey of Indian customers with the introduction of advanced solutions. Today, we take pride in presenting ADAS on our compact SUV Venue, which makes it the most affordable SUV with this advanced safety technology. Both Venue and Venue N Line will now feature Hyundai SmartSense.”

Hyundai’s ADAS Models and New Transmission

• Among the company’s domestic portfolio of automobiles, five models are currently equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Venue, Venue N Line, Verna, Tucson, and Ioniq 5. Hyundai is also introducing a new 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 1.0-liter petrol engine.

Features of ADAS-equipped Venue and Venue N Line

• The ADAS-equipped Venue and Venue N Line come with features such as Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Car, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Pedestrian, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Cyclist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Driver Attention Warning.
• They also include Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert.

Pricing and Availability

• The new 6-speed MT is available in Venue S(O) and SX(O) trims, as well as Venue N Line N6 and N8 variants.
• The Hyundai Venue S (O) MT 1.0L petrol is priced at INR 10.32 lakh, while the 1.5L diesel SX(O) MT dual-tone trim goes up to INR 13.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
• The Hyundai Venue N Line N6 manual is priced at INR 11,99,900, with the dual-tone variant costing an additional INR 15,000. The N8 MT variant of Venue N Line is priced at INR 12,95,900, while the two-tone variant is priced at INR 13,10,900 (ex-showroom).
