Railway for Govt Employees can travel in Vande Bharat and Humsafar express
The government has given a big gift to the government employees. Henceforth government employees will also be able to travel in Vande Bharat Express. Now government employees can travel by Vande Bharat Express as well as Humsafar Express for travel, training, transfer, and retirement. Earlier these employees were allowed to travel only in Shatabdi and Rajdhani trains.

This information has been given by issuing an official statement on behalf of the Ministry of Finance. As per the official notification, henceforth government employees can also travel in Vande Bharat trains for their tour and training for various functions. Government officials can use it during their official tour.
Department approved
According to media reports, Vande Bharat Express and Humsafar trains can be used for official trips. A notification has also been issued by the Ministry of Finance in this regard. The Department of Expenditure of the Ministry of Finance has considered and approved it.
All these facilities will be available after the order
After this order, the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification that all the facilities available to government officials in Rajdhani or Shatabdi trains including Vande Bharat trains.

The move was taken by the government to mitigate the loss of Tejas, the country’s first private train, which benefited the railways. On 12 September 2022, the Department of Expenditure of the Ministry of Finance issued an order that the Tejas Express trains can also be used by government officials.
