Hyundai’s Car Set to Challenge Maruti Baleno, Teaser Released

AkhandIndia (New Delhi)। The festive season is around the corner and Hyundai has released its official teaser video for the facelift version of its i20 premium hatchback, hinting at its launch during this festive season. The 2023 i20 was launched globally in May and now it is expected to debut in India soon.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Exterior

Talking about the exterior, the 2023 Hyundai i20 will feature significant updates in its design. The front will have angular arrow head air dams and a new all-black wide front grille, giving it a sharp look. The i20 will also sport a new Hyundai logo on the bonnet. The LED headlight cluster has been updated while maintaining the L-shaped LED DRLs. New alloy wheels will be seen in this version. Instead of the existing all-black bumper, a new dual-tone bumper can be expected. The reflector may be placed above the bumper, whereas it was previously situated in the lower black cladding area of the bumper.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Interior

The cabin is expected to remain similar to the current i20, although it may now include a dual-dashcam, recently introduced in the exteriors. The 2023 i20 will feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system and the steering wheel design will remain unchanged. However, the digital instrument cluster and upholstery may receive updates. It is also expected to include ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

Hyundai i20 Facelift Engine

The 2023 i20 will continue to offer both petrol powertrains ★the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated and the 1-liter turbo. The former delivers a total output of 82bhp and 114.7Nm, with the option of a 5-speed manual and CVT transmission. The turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, delivers 118bhp and 172Nm and comes with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox only.
