Prashant Kishor urges people to vote on development issues

Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, visited Purushottampur during his padyatra (foot march) and addressed the people in a meeting. He emphasized the importance of voting on development issues rather than accepting money for votes. Kishor stated that villages are suffering from a lack of basic infrastructure such as drains, roads, and schools, and voting based on critical issues is essential for honest and accountable leadership. During his padyatra, Kishor covered a distance of 12.3 kilometers and rested at Kachchi Pakki Chowk, Chakbhikkhi, Purushottampur, and Barkurba.

Block coordinators elected in the district

On Tuesday, the district Jan Suraj block coordinators were elected. Voting took place at Ramdayalu Singh College, with a total of 972 people participating. The elected block coordinators include Mukesh Kumar in Mushari, Armaan Mallick, Roshan Kumar, and Praveen Kumar in Bochahan, Anoj Kumar Singh in Gaighat, Rajkumar and Manibhushan in Aurai, Rakesh in Sahebganj, Sunil and Pramod in Paro, Guddu and Manish in Katra, Gautam, Rakesh, and Sanjay in Saraiya, Roshan and Deepak in Minapur, Noor Alam in Marwan, and Niranjan and Danish in Motipur.

Sarpanches protest for their demands in Biraul

The District Head of Block Headquarters Sarpanch Association, Rajiv Kumar alias Pappu, led a protest in Biraul. Sarpanches raised slogans in support of their demands and submitted a memorandum to the Block Development Officer (BDO) through a delegation led by District President Rai. Sarpanches including Shakeel Devi, Mohd. Alamgir Ansari, Shambhu Chaudhary, Gaurishankar Paswan, Ghuran Ram, Rajesh Paswan, and Sheela Devi were present during the protest.
