Woman Dies Due to Electrocution in Bihar Village

A woman named Meena Devi, aged 45, died due to electrocution in Kadamdera-Laxmi Dera village in Bhojpur district of Bihar. She was the wife of Santosh Yadav, a rural doctor. The incident occurred while she was cooking at home and went to light a bulb, resulting in a short-circuit and her electrocution. She was rushed to Shahpur Referral Hospital but was declared dead by the doctor. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Accident Due to Short-Circuit While Lighting Bulb

Santosh Yadav, the husband of the deceased, explained that their children were studying and he had gone out for work when the incident took place. Meena Devi was cooking at home and when she tried to light the bulb, a short-circuit occurred, leading to her severe injuries. When the children returned home, they found her unconscious and immediately took her to the hospital, where she was declared dead. The local police were informed about the incident.

Mother’s Shadow Lifted from the Heads of Four Children

The deceased left behind two daughters named Anshu and Anushka, as well as two sons named Golu and Mithilesh. Santosh Yadav, being a family doctor in the village, was left devastated by the accident. Relatives and family members were in a state of grief, attributing the incident to a short-circuit while cooking. The accident has left the children without a mother.
