Bihar School Examination Board Sets Date for Annual Secondary Examination Form
Jagran correspondent from Gopalganj has reported that the Bihar School Examination Board has scheduled the date for filling the form for the Annual Secondary Examination in 2024. The date has been fixed as 17th September. The board has also issued original registration cards for both regular and independent category students who will be appearing in the examination. The students have been instructed to fill the examination form online.
Bihar Board Instructs High School Principals
The Bihar Board has directed all high school principals to download the original registration cards and examination forms from the committee’s website and provide them to the students. These registration cards will contain complete details of the students, which will be used to fill the examination form. The students are required to submit the form in duplicate to the head of their respective school. One copy will be signed, sealed, and dated by the school head and handed back to the students. The school head will then compare the form with the school records for satisfaction. After this, the students will complete the online form by paying the examination fee on 17th September.
Only Recognized Schools Permitted to Fill the Form
The Bihar Board has clarified that only recognized schools are eligible to fill the examination form for valid students and deposit the prescribed fee. Schools whose recognition or affiliation has been canceled or suspended will not be allowed to fill the form. In the entire district, there are a total of 246 high schools with approximately 60,000 students studying in them.
Prescribed Fee for Examination Form
The examination fee for the matriculation examination in 2024 has been set at Rs 950 for general quota candidates and Rs 835 for reserved quota candidates. Additionally, separate charges of Rs 30 for practical examination and Rs 30 for online fee will be collected by the educational institutions. The Rs 30 received as an online fee will be retained by the school and can be used for various purposes related to the students’ online form, including downloading the original and dummy admit cards.
