While being an MP from Nalanda, he was the Minister of Railways, Agriculture and Transport at the Centre. While being the Union Minister for so long, there was not even a single stain on his clothes. Nitish served with full honesty while being at the Center and Nitish Kumar has been serving Bihar for 17 years.
Bihar wants Nitish-Lalan Singh to become PM

लालन सिंह ने आगे कहा, नालंदा की जनता ने ऐसे नेता को दिया है जो न केवल बिहार का नेतृत्व कर रहे हैं, बल्कि पूरे देश का नेतृत्व करने के लिए तैयार हैं। अब इस लालन सिंह के बयान के लीक होने के बाद, जेडीयू के नेता और बिहार सरकार के मंत्री अशोक चौधरी ने भी एक ही बयान दिया है। अशोक चौधरी ने कहा, कौन सी पार्टी और उसके नेता नहीं चाहेंगे कि उनका नेता ऊँचाई पर पहुंचे। किसी को नीतीश जी के अनुभव और ईमानदारी पर कोई संदेह नहीं है। पूरे देश को ऐसा नेता पसंद है, जिसे कोई नहीं चाहेगा कि वह प्रधानमंत्री बनें।
