Gunfire erupts at the residence of Patna’s Mayor, Vidyadhar Vinod, in Maner late Friday night. The Mayor narrowly escapes the attack unharmed. As soon as the incident is reported, the police arrive at the scene and begin their investigation. Four bullet shells have been recovered from the crime scene, and the police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas.

The Mayor, Vidyadhar Vinod, revealed that his house is located in the Nivati Mohalla of Maner. On Friday night, a group of criminals opened fire at his residence. Upon hearing the gunshots, he immediately alerted the Maner police station. However, taking advantage of the darkness, the criminals managed to escape before the police arrived. The police have recovered four bullet shells from the crime scene.

The Mayor stated that approximately 8 to 10 rounds of firing were conducted by the criminals at his house. The bullet marks can be seen at various spots within his residence. One bullet even hit the wall of his bedroom. Following the incident, the Mayor and his family are in a state of shock. When questioned about the motive behind the attack, the Mayor refused to disclose any information. He stated that he has no enmity with anyone. Despite this, his house was targeted in a gunfire incident. The Mayor appeals to the police to take the matter seriously and apprehend the culprits as soon as possible. The police are currently investigating the case and conducting interviews with potential witnesses.
