The number of dengue patients in Muzaffarpur district is increasing, prompting authorities to take preventive measures. In the past 24 hours, seven dengue patients have been reported, including one from Gayghat, one from Meenapur, one from Mushahari, one from the urban area, two from Motipur, and one from Aurai. The total number of dengue patients in the district has now reached 499.

The office of the Civil Surgeon has taken action in the Mushahari block by conducting fogging to prevent the spread of dengue. Similar measures are being planned for other affected areas as well. The district administration is also raising awareness among the public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and taking precautions to prevent dengue.

Currently, there are 138 dengue patients in the Mushahari block, 102 in the urban area, and an undisclosed number in the Bochaha block. The authorities are closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary steps to control the spread of dengue. They are also urging residents to cooperate and support their efforts in order to effectively tackle the dengue outbreak in the district.
