The body of a newly married woman was found in suspicious circumstances in Gauri village under the Chandee police station area in Nalanda district late on Sunday night. The police had recovered the body of the deceased, along with her file photo. In this case, the father of the deceased, Nares Ravidas, has filed a dowry murder case against five people, including his son-in-law.

The incident took place in Maksoodpur village under the Shahjahanpur police station area in Patna district. The deceased woman had recently gotten married and her body was discovered by the police in Gauri village. The father of the deceased has accused his son-in-law and four others of murdering his daughter over dowry.
