Largest Vamakali idol immersed in peaceful environment in Bhagalpur’s Ramapur Khurd panchayat

The largest idol of Goddess Vamakali in Bihar was immersed in a peaceful atmosphere amidst tight security in Bahbalpur, Ramapur Khurd Panchayat of Nathnagar block in Bhagalpur late at night. Devotees were seen in a state of excitement as they caught a glimpse of the goddess. As the night progressed, the crowd of devotees increased. The devotees stood in line on the bypass road to catch a glimpse of the idol of Vamakali. It is said that the history of this temple is 400 years old. The idol of Goddess Vamakali left its place to be immersed as per the schedule.
