A youth in Jamui, Bihar, was beaten up and left unconscious in the jungle after an argument with his wife in his in-laws’ house. The victim’s family informed the Simultala police station about the incident. Based on the location obtained from his mobile phone, the police found him in the Ghodapadh forest and admitted him to the Jhajha referral hospital for treatment. He has now been referred to the Jamui Sadar Hospital. The injured youth, identified as Mo. Shagir Ansari, is a resident of Tarakuda in Jhajha and had left his in-laws’ house to return home.
