In this regard, Bihar’s Water Resources Minister Sanjay Jha posted on Twitter, stating that the Bihar government and Nitish Kumar have consistently requested the central government to rename Darbhanga Airport after Vidyapati. He tagged the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Urban Development, once again raising this demand. The Water Resources Minister also mentioned that a resolution to change the name has already been sent to the ministry.
