Tragic Accident in Bihar: 12 people were traveling in a tempo truck in Muzaffarpur, Bihar when it collided with a stationary truck on the road. Due to the darkness and lack of street lights, the driver was unable to see the truck in front of them. As a result, two men and one woman lost their lives in the accident. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Victims and Details: Out of the 12 people traveling in the tempo truck, three died on the spot due to the collision. The remaining nine injured individuals were admitted to the PHC for treatment, and some were later referred to a more serious condition. The passengers were returning from a bathing ritual in the Ganges river after celebrating Kartik Purnima. The injured victims have been identified and are receiving medical treatment.
No Street Lights and Poor Visibility: The accident occurred due to the lack of street lights on the road, making it difficult for the driver to see the stationary truck. The tempo truck was parked on the side of the road, and the driver failed to notice it due to the absence of any light source. The condition of the driver is also critical, and one injured person has been placed in the ICU. Emergency medical treatment is being provided to the other injured victims.
Contacting the Authorities: The local police have been informed about the accident, and the families of the injured victims have been notified. The injured individuals have been transported to the hospital for necessary medical care. The OPD in charge has ensured that all necessary information has been provided to the concerned authorities, and efforts are being made to provide the best possible treatment to the victims.
