Ara (Bhojpur): In a shocking incident, a shopkeeper was shot dead by armed criminals in Khatal village of Dakshin Ekauna in the Udawantnagar police station area. The criminals opened fire on the shopkeeper when he opposed their objections to eating and drinking in the shop. They also severely beat his son with a belt and then fired shots at him. However, the son managed to escape and save his life. The victim was shot on the right side of his back. He succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in Patna on Saturday.
After the incident, when the injured person’s family members saw his condition, they rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to a private hospital in Patna for further treatment. The incident occurred on Friday night.
The family members of the victim are in a state of shock and mourning. They are demanding justice for the brutal murder of their loved one. The police have launched an investigation into the case and are trying to identify and apprehend the culprits responsible for the crime. The motive behind the murder is yet to be determined.
