Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) has been neglecting civic amenities in the area for the past seven months. Despite having a fund of 18 crore rupees, JSEB has not utilized it for the required infrastructure such as drains, PC roads, and culverts. Officials of JSEB have not even issued tenders for these works. Normally, JSEB carries out various projects related to civic amenities like power blocks, drains, sanitation, culverts, and community buildings through tenders. However, in the past seven months, no plans have been made for civic amenities and transportation in the area. The focus has been on projects from seven months ago, as the upcoming 2024 election year approaches.

Lack of progress in civic amenities has caused frustration among the residents of Jamshedpur. Despite having sufficient funds, JSEB officials have failed to address the basic needs of the people. The area requires proper drainage, PC roads, and culverts, but no action has been taken by the officials. Tendering for these works has not even been initiated. This negligence has resulted in a lack of development and inconvenience for the residents.

JSEB’s failure to prioritize and execute projects for civic amenities and transportation in the area has raised concerns among the residents. With the Lok Sabha elections approaching, there is a need for timely planning and implementation of these projects. However, the focus seems to be on projects from seven months ago, indicating a lack of progress. It is crucial for JSEB to address the immediate needs of the people and allocate funds accordingly to ensure the development of the area.

As the election year approaches, the lack of progress in civic amenities and transportation projects raises questions about the commitment of JSEB towards the welfare of the residents. The delay in planning and execution of these projects is causing inconvenience and dissatisfaction among the people. It is essential for JSEB officials to prioritize the needs of the residents and take immediate action to address the pending projects. The upcoming Lok Sabha elections provide an opportunity for the residents to voice their concerns and demand better infrastructure and facilities in the area.
