Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi has accused the Hemant Soren government of alleged corruption and deteriorating law and order situation in the state. He said, “If they are innocent, they should face the Enforcement Directorate (ED).” Former Chief Minister Marandi made these remarks while addressing a rally in Dhanbad on Saturday.

He said, “The nexus between criminals, coal thieves, and the police has worsened the law and order situation in Jharkhand. The entire machinery in the coal region of Dhanbad is involved in coal theft and the Chief Minister is also a part of it.” Marandi also alleged that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is running away from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

He said, “If the Chief Minister has done nothing wrong, then why is he running away from the ED? If he is clean and hasn’t earned any black money, then he should face the ED.”

Marandi further stated, “Crime and unemployment have reached their peak in Jharkhand. The youth of the state are migrating. Due to the poor employment situation, 15 laborers from Jharkhand who went to Uttarakhand for work got trapped in a mine. There is increasing forced collection in Dhanbad. On the other hand, Dhanbad MP PN Singh also expressed concern over the rising crime and coal theft in the district.”
