Prashant Kishor’s Statement on Election Results

Prashant Kishor has made a significant statement on the election results of four states. He stated that the BJP’s overwhelming victory can be attributed to four main reasons, which the Congress needs to understand. He emphasized that simply making allegations against the BJP does not win votes from the public.

Four Reasons for BJP’s Success

According to Prashant Kishor, there are four main reasons why the BJP receives votes. Firstly, their ideology of Hindutva resonates with a significant portion of the population. Secondly, the narrative of a rising New India has created a sense of pride among the rural population. Thirdly, the benefits of central government schemes have reached the beneficiaries directly. Lastly, the organizational strength of the BJP gives them an advantage over other parties.

Importance of Understanding BJP’s Strength

Prashant Kishor emphasizes the importance of understanding the BJP’s strength in order to defeat them. He states that unless efforts are made to understand their power and surpass it, people will continue to vote for the BJP. He also highlights that victories in a few states do not have a significant impact unless efforts are made in at least three out of four of these reasons. He clarifies that the recent wins in Karnataka and Telangana were not for the Congress, but rather against the respective incumbent governments.
