Deadly Accident in Katkamsandi
In a tragic incident in the Katkamsandi area of Hazaribagh district, a collision occurred between a school van and a passenger bus on Friday morning. The school van was severely damaged in the collision, causing injuries to nearly a dozen children. The driver of the van, Rampravesh Yadav, lost his life at the scene, while several children, including Piyush Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Madheshwar Kumar, and Rani Kumari, were seriously injured.

The accident took place on the student route near Jamunia Soti in the Katkamsandi police station area. The school van, belonging to a resident of Nonagawan in Chatar district, suffered significant damage. The passenger bus also sustained some damage. The collision resulted in the unfortunate death of Rampravesh Yadav, the van’s driver, and left several children with severe injuries.
Injured Children
Among the injured children, Piyush Kumar and Rahul Kumar are the sons of Dineshwar Saw, Madheshwar Kumar is the son of Ramsevak Prasad, and Rani Kumari is the daughter of Aftab Alam. These children, along with others, were traveling in the same van when the accident occurred. Their injuries are being treated with utmost care and urgency.
