Hospitalized Night Guard Shot by Criminals in Bihar’s Raghopur
In Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav’s constituency Raghopur, criminals have once again started their rampage. They targeted a government school’s night guard and shot him, causing serious injuries. It is being reported that the guard died during treatment in Patna. The injured guard has been identified as Jitendra Kumar, son of Suryavanshi Rai, a resident of Rustampur village in Raghopur block.
The School is located 100 meters away from the guard’s house
According to information, Jitendra works as a night guard at Roshan Singh High School, which is located approximately 100 meters away from his house. It was at this school that the criminals shot him in the abdomen. After the incident, his relatives admitted him to a hospital in Patna for treatment, where he unfortunately passed away. Doctors had initially declared his condition as critical, as they were also monitoring his other injuries apart from the gunshot wounds.
The guard had donated his land to the school
It has been revealed that the night guard was sleeping in the school premises when the criminals, who were already hiding there, carried out the attack. It is also known that the guard had donated his land to the school. The incident occurred around 11:30 pm last night when the guard arrived at the school after having dinner at home. As soon as he reached the school premises, the criminals started indiscriminate firing. He was hit by a bullet in the abdomen and fell to the ground. Upon hearing the gunshot, villagers rushed to the school and found him lying on the ground. He was immediately taken to a hospital in Patna for treatment but unfortunately passed away during the course of treatment.
