Heatwave Subsides in Jharkhand, Cooler Temperature Expected
The heatwave that had been gripping Jharkhand, including the capital Ranchi, has finally come to an end. The temperature has started to decrease, with Ranchi experiencing a drop of up to three degrees in just 24 hours. The weather department predicts clear skies till December 15th, which means that the minimum temperature in Ranchi is expected to reach up to 10 degrees in the next two days. During this period, the weather will remain dry, and there is no forecast for rain.
Arrangement of Streetlights in Ranchi
In order to ensure the convenience and safety of the residents, Ranchi Municipal Corporation has arranged for streetlights at various intersections. The Deputy Administrator of Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Kunwar Singh Pahan, has informed that eight intersections, including Sujata Chowk, Argora Chowk, Doranda, RIMS, Albert Ekka Chowk, Railway Station, and Kantatoli Bus Stand, have been equipped with streetlights. These lights will be lit every day until the end of winter.
Providing Information to the Control Room
Ranchi Municipal Corporation has appealed to the residents to inform the control room at 9431104429 if they need to stay at intersections during the cold weather. The corporation will also arrange for streetlights at other locations as well. During the monsoon season, trees were pruned in the city to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The trimmed wood was dried in the Bakri Bazar store and is now being used to light the streetlights during the cold weather.
झारखंड में मिचौंग तूफान के बाद रांची में तापमान में गिरावट हो रही है। राजधानी रांची में तीन डिग्री तक की गिरावट देखी जा रही है और अगले दो दिनों में न्यूनतम तापमान 10 डिग्री तक पहुंचने की उम्मीद है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार 15 दिसंबर तक आसमान साफ रहेगा। इस दौरान शहर में अलाव की व्यवस्था की जा रही है और लोगों को परेशानी न होने के लिए नगर निगम ने चौक-चौराहों में अलाव का इंतजाम किया है। शहर के आठ चौक-चौराहों में हर दिन अलाव जलाए जाएंगे। नगर निगम ने लोगों से अनुरोध किया है कि वे ठंड में रहने की सूचना कंट्रोल रूम को दे सकें। बरसात के दौरान पेड़ों की छंटाई की गई थी और इन्हीं लकड़ियों का इस्तेमाल अलाव जलाने के लिए किया जा रहा है।
