Government healthcare facilities have been deteriorating in Bihar, as evidenced by the recent situation at Munger Sadar Hospital’s women’s ward. Kajal Devi, a 30-year-old resident of Tekerampur Devanmandal Tola in the Mufassil Thana area, was admitted to the hospital with a bullet lodged in her chest. Her family has been running from hospital to hospital for the past four days in an attempt to have the bullet removed. However, due to financial constraints, they have been unable to seek treatment at a private hospital. After visiting hospitals in Khagaria, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, and Patna, they finally arrived at the women’s ward of Sadar Hospital, only to be referred to Patna for further treatment.

बिहार के मुंगेर सदर अस्पताल में सरकारी स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था की बदहाली की ताजा स्थिति के चलते कन्हैया झा की पत्नी काजल देवी की स्थिति बिगड़ रही है। उनके सीने में फंसी गोली निकालवाने के लिए परिजन पिछले चार दिनों से अस्पताल-अस्पताल घूम रहे हैं, लेकिन आर्थिक तंगी के कारण निजी अस्पताल में उनका इलाज संभव नहीं हो रहा है। महिला सदर अस्पताल के चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें पटना रेफर कर दिया है।
