In Vaishali, a young man was attacked with acid, resulting in serious injuries. The incident took place in the Simarwada village in the Patna district. The injured youth was immediately admitted to a private emergency hospital in Hajipur for treatment. The driver of the injured Bolero was identified. The police have filed a report at the hospital upon receiving information about the incident and are taking action in the case. The injured youth has been identified as Dharmendra Kumar, son of Chandeshwar Sharma, a resident of Simarwada village.
Called and thrown acid
According to the relatives, Dharmendra Kumar had gone to Teknari village with a wedding procession from his village. After returning late at night, he had left the car at the owner’s house and was returning home. During this time, someone called him near the mosque, which was near his house. While talking on the phone, he reached near the mosque, where a girl was already standing with another boy. While talking to the girl, the boy who was already there threw acid on his face and both of them fled from there. Due to the acid attack, Dharmendra ran towards his house shouting and then fell unconscious upon reaching there. Upon hearing Dharmendra’s cries, people gathered around and immediately admitted him to a local private clinic for treatment. Upon seeing his critical condition, the doctors referred him for better treatment. Dharmendra is currently undergoing treatment at a private emergency hospital in Hajipur. According to the doctors, his condition is critical.
Talking to the girl for five months
In relation to the incident, Shivendra Narayan Singh, the station officer of the Patapur police station, said that information has been received about an acid attack on a young man in Simarwada village. The injured has filed a report, in which he mentioned that he could not identify the attacker. However, he did mention that the attack was carried out at the girl’s behest. He said that further investigation will reveal the details after questioning the girl. The station officer mentioned that Dharmendra, the injured, had been talking to the girl for the past five months.
