Vaishali Acid Attack: A shocking incident took place in the Simarwada village of Bihar’s Vaishali district, where a girlfriend attacked her own boyfriend with acid. The victim, a young man, sustained serious injuries and is currently fighting for his life in the hospital. The incident occurred on Monday morning during a love dispute. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
The victim’s face was severely burnt in the attack. It is alleged that the girl, who was also involved in the acid attack, had been in contact with the injured boy for the past five months. With the help of his relatives, the injured boy was admitted to a private hospital in Hajipur. The Patna police have also registered a case based on the victim’s statement and are conducting further investigations.
According to the Patna Superintendent of Police, Dharmendra Kumar, the victim, a resident of Simarwada village, had gone to attend a wedding ceremony. He had been talking to a girl from the same village for about five months. During his return from the ceremony, he met the girl late at night. Suddenly, another young man appeared and attacked him with acid on his face. The accused girl was also present at the scene of the incident.
The victim managed to escape and run back home. The police have recorded the statement of the injured boy and have filed a First Information Report (FIR) based on it. The doctors treating the victim, Dr. Riyaz Ahmad, stated that the acid attack had severely affected the victim’s eyes. His eyes have been seriously damaged, and there is also an impact on his neck. Therefore, the victim’s condition is critical. The police are taking further action based on the FIR and are investigating the incident.
