On November 2nd, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar handed out appointment letters to successful teacher candidates. However, just a month later, one of the appointed teachers has submitted his resignation. The teacher, who is from Uttar Pradesh, cited his inability to work as a BPSI teacher in Bihar as the reason for his resignation.

The teacher in question, Aman Kumar Gupta, had joined the Hanuman Nagar Middle School on November 2nd after receiving his appointment letter. However, he has now submitted his resignation to the school’s principal. In his resignation letter, Gupta mentioned that the reduction in holidays during the summer season and festivals like Holi and Diwali, as implemented by the education department, made it difficult for him to travel back to his hometown in Darbhanga, Bihar.

Gupta also mentioned that the school operates from 9 am to 5 pm, and after that, there are instructions related to election-related work. This leaves him with no time to spend with his family. As a result of all these reasons, Gupta has decided to submit his resignation.

Additionally, Gupta has also informed the District Education Officer about his resignation. The principal of the school has notified the District Education Officer about Gupta’s intention to resign. Gupta had started teaching at the school on November 17th, 2023, and then attended induction training at the Sitamarhi DIET from November 18th. However, after not being able to contribute to the school, Gupta sent his resignation through WhatsApp.
