If you are an LPG consumer, you need to get your e-KYC done at the agency from where you purchase the gas cylinder by 31st December. Otherwise, you may be deprived of the subsidy that you will receive in the coming days. As per the directions of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, all LPG consumers associated with DBTL will have to visit the gas agency to get their biometric verification done. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) and beneficiaries associated with the scheme are now required to undergo biometric authentication. To complete the biometric verification, consumers need to visit their distributor and get their e-KYC done. Normal consumers are given a subsidy of 72 rupees.

अब यदि आप एलपीजी उपभोक्ता हैं तो 31 दिसम्बर तक आपको अपने गैस सिलेंडर लेने वाली एजेंसी पर जाकर ई-केवाईसी करवानी होगी। अन्यथा आपको आने वाले दिनों में सब्सिडी से वंचित होना पड़ सकता है। पेट्रोलियम एंड प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय के निर्देश पर अब सभी एलपीजी उपभोक्ताओं को गैस एजेंसी जाकर अपना बायोमैट्रिक करवाना होगा। प्रधानमंत्री उज्जवला योजना और पहल से जुड़े लाभार्थियों को बायोमैट्रिक प्रमाणीकरण अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। इसके लिए वितरक के पास जाकर उन्हें ई-केवाईसी करवानी होगी। सामान्य उपभोक्ताओं को 72 रुपये की सब्सिडी दी जाती है।
