Rapid Rail News reports that the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has decided to remove rapid rail from agricultural land in the Manesar valley on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. The decision comes after the completion of the Aravali mountain range, which surrounds the valley and creates steep curves that require trains to slow down when running at high speeds. NCRTC officials have stated that they need 80,617 square meters of private land for the operation of the rapid rail, including 12,000 square meters for the station at Bilaspur Chowk. The corporation has requested the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) to provide the necessary land.

NCRTC has planned to build a railway station on the northern side of the Cyber City (Shankar Chowk) on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway, for which it will require 9,000 square meters of green land from the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). Additionally, the corporation will need 3,000 square meters of land in the southern direction of DLF Limited for entry and exit purposes. There are plans to build an elevated railway station in the southern direction at IFFCO Chowk, for which 19,000 square meters of land is required, along with 6,011 square meters for entry and exit. This land is connected to the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).

NCRTC has also developed plans to construct an underground railway station at Rajiv Chowk, for which 61,935 square meters of land is required. This includes 37,817 square meters belonging to the Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, 19,403 square meters belonging to the Haryana Transport Department, and 4,715 square meters belonging to the District Administration. Similarly, an underground station will be built in the southern direction at Hero Honda Chowk, which will require 2,400 square meters of land, with an additional 10,077 square meters belonging to Hero Moto Corp. A land area of 3,464 square meters will be needed for entry and exit in the northern direction.

In Manesar, for the construction of a ground-level railway station, 57,299 square meters of land is required, along with 13,278 square meters for entry and exit. This land is connected to the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). There are plans to build an elevated railway station in the northern direction on the service road in Pachgaon, for which land owned by HSIIDC will be used. At Bilaspur Chowk, NCRTC requires 12,000 square meters of private land to construct an elevated station. NCRTC’s plan also includes the construction of a railway station in Dhauraheda on the north side of the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway, for which 16,096 square meters of land is required, including 2,226 square meters owned by private individuals.
