Jewar Green Field Expressway is being built to connect the Faridabad district of Haryana with the Noida International Airport. Alongside this expressway, a new city will be established near the Basti UP border, reducing the commercial distance between the two cities. The Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) is currently working on a plan to create a new city under the Masterplan-2041. The plan includes developing the industrial and industrial sectors up to the Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh. The transportation infrastructure is also being considered in order to reduce the distance between Noida and Faridabad, making business activities easier for both cities.
The areas along the expressway on both sides, from Faridabad sectors to the UP border, are currently vacant. The preparation for building a new city under the Master Plan-2041 is underway on this land. There will be significant development up to the Yamuna river, benefiting both Noida and Faridabad. This will make it easier to conduct business activities outside the country, as well as for those coming from Mumbai. Plans are also being made to develop transportation facilities, including connectivity through metro rail, to facilitate easy commuting between Noida and Faridabad. The FMDA is working on the development plan for the Jewar Green Field Expressway on both sides, up to the UP border.
The Green Field Expressway is being constructed from Sector 65 in Faridabad to the Noida International Airport, spanning a distance of 31 kilometers. Out of this, 7 kilometers will be in Uttar Pradesh and 24 kilometers in Haryana. The road will start from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway link road and will connect the KGP (Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal) Expressway and Yamuna Expressway to the Jewar Airport. The Green Field Expressway passes through 12 villages in Faridabad, and the land acquisition has been completed. Construction work has also begun, with underpasses being built at multiple locations. According to the Master Plan-2031, the expressway passes through Sector 117, 118, 122, and 123 of Greater Faridabad. The road was being divided into two sections in these sectors, so it is being elevated in these areas.
जेवर ग्रीनफील्ड एक्सप्रेसवे का निर्माण करने के लिए एक नया शहर बसाने की योजना बनाई जा रही है, जो फरीदाबाद जिले को नोएडा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट से जोड़ेगा। इससे दोनों शहरों के बीच की व्यावसायिक दूरी भी कम होगी। मास्टरप्लान में नोएडा और फरीदाबाद के बीच की दूरी कम करने के लिए परिवहन के साधन विकसित करने की भी योजना बनाई जा रही है। इसके अलावा, मास्टरप्लान-2041 में नए शहर को मेट्रो रेल से भी कनेक्टिविटी दी जाएगी। इसके लिए ग्रीनफील्ड एक्सप्रेसवे के दोनों तरफ यूपी की सीमा तक विकास की योजना बनाई जा रही है। इस प्रकार, यह एक महत्वपूर्ण परियोजना है जो उत्तर प्रदेश और हरियाणा के बीच व्यावसायिक और औद्योगिक सहयोग को बढ़ावा देगी।
