New Orders Issued Regarding School Inspections

The Additional Chief Secretary of Bihar, KK Pathak, is very serious about the state of education in schools. He regularly visits various districts to inspect schools. New orders have been issued for the conduct of classes from 9 am to 5 pm. Strict instructions have been given to the teachers to take classes. BEOs are now getting school inspections done through their officers. Recently, KK Pathak issued a letter to all District Magistrates, emphasizing the need for strictness in terms of teacher leave and attendance in schools. Teachers will no longer be able to accept leave requests through WhatsApp. They will have to physically submit their applications. Furthermore, school inspections will now be conducted twice a day instead of once, as some teachers were found waiting for the inspection and leaving school in the afternoon. KK Pathak has given instructions to take strict action against such teachers.
