Court has issued an arrest warrant against the Station House Officer (SHO) in Siwan. This has caused panic in the police department. The SHO, Upendra Singh, has been repeatedly asked to present the case diary during the hearing of a case for several months. However, he failed to do so and did not appear in court either.

As a result, the court ordered the arrest of Siwan SP Shailesh Kumar Sinha for failing to produce the case diary. The order also instructed that he be arrested along with IO Upendra Singh and the case diary.

It is reported that in July, Mo. Ali, a resident of MM Colony in Siwan, was shot by criminals when he was leaving his house. The bullet hit his hand. After this incident, Mo. Ali implicated several people, including Subuktaran Khatoon, in the case. Subuktaran Khatoon had applied for bail on July 23, 2023. At that time, Upendra Singh was the IO of the case.

The court had repeatedly asked for the case diary during the bail hearings. Upendra Singh was also ordered to appear multiple times, but he neither appeared nor provided the case diary. This process took nearly five months. When the hearing took place on December 14, the District and Sessions Judge Pradeep Kumar Malik issued an arrest warrant.
