Under the direction of SSP Avakash Kumar, a team formed by DSP Amit Kumar conducted a raid at DMCH. During the raid, three bottles of liquor were seized from the guest house. The police are also identifying the doctors seen in the video and conducting their search.
Darbhanga police are conducting searches at other locations in DMCH. Currently, heavy police deployment has been made in the entire DMCH premises. On this matter, JAP Chief Pappu Yadav said that I have been saying from the beginning that there is a liquor business going on in DMCH. Expensive liquor is served among the rich people here. I had said this about two to three years ago when we were arrested and admitted for treatment. During that time, I had said that there are various businesses such as liquor, cigarettes, and kebabs. He said that no house or person is safe from alcohol.
Doctors themselves are doing business with others’ lives. Former MP said that during the conference organized for such a big research work in DMCH, doctors from outside were served alcohol during the seminar. Doctors should be respected. But today’s video shows that doctors who save others’ lives are doing business with others’ lives. He further said that not all doctors are like this, but only ten percent of them are real doctors. He demanded that all these doctors be arrested on a priority basis.
The police seized three bottles of liquor during the raid. DSP Amit Kumar, who came to conduct the raid at DMCH, said that there are a total of five rooms in the guest house. During the search of a room on the lower floor, three bottles of liquor were seized. The caretaker of the guest house is being questioned. He said that there was a senior doctor present in the room upstairs who came today and is posted in PMCH. No objectionable material has been found in his room. He further said that a video of a party held at DMCH went viral yesterday, in which alcohol was consumed. We came to verify it. Once the identification is confirmed, appropriate action will be taken.
