Gadhwa Encounter: Clash between Naxalites and Police in Gadhwa

In Gadhwa district, a clash broke out between Naxalites and the police. This clash took place between Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad (JJMP) and the police. During the clash, several rounds of bullets were fired from both sides. Currently, the area has been converted into a barracks. In this clash, Shankar Prasad Kushwaha, the in-charge of Ranka Police Station, was shot. He was taken to the Gadhwa Sadar Hospital with a bullet lodged in his arm. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he has been referred to the Medical Hospital in Ranchi for better treatment. The incident took place late at night.
