Sahibganj: Members of the drug trafficking gang traveled on the Vananchal Express train from Ranchi to Bhagalpur and drugged five passengers, robbing them of cash and belongings worth thousands of rupees. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) took two passengers to Sadar Hospital for treatment after they fell unconscious on the train. The two passengers are identified as Gopal Bro from Murshidabad and Sikandar from Katihar. Inspector Christopher Kisku informed that Sikandar and Gopal were traveling from Ranchi to Bhagalpur. In Ranchi, an unknown person drugged them by offering biscuits, causing them to lose consciousness and their belongings. Sikandar lost Rs 3,000 in cash, a watch, and a mobile phone, while Gopal lost Rs 14,000 in cash and a mobile phone, which was stolen.
In another incident on the Vananchal Express train, the RPF also had to take three passengers to Sadar Hospital for treatment after they fell unconscious. The passengers are identified as Abu Shahid from Murshidabad, Atif from Farakka, and Salim Sheikh from Pakur. Abu Shahid explained that they were waiting for the train at Ranchi Railway Station when an unknown person gave them biscuits. After that, the three of them boarded the Vananchal Express train and have no recollection of what happened next. The three young men are currently undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital. Inspector Christopher Kisku mentioned that the details of the incident can only be obtained once the three passengers regain consciousness.

साहिबगंज में नशाखुरानी गिरोह के सदस्यों ने वनांचल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन में यात्रा कर रहे पांच रेल यात्रियों को नशा का सामान खिलाकर लूट लिया है। इन यात्रियों के हजारों रुपये नकद और सामान को लेकर गिरोह फरार हो गया है। आरपीएफ ने दो यात्रियों को अचेतावस्था में ट्रेन से उतारकर इलाज के लिए सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती किया है। इसमें रहने वाले गोपाल ब्रो और सिकंदर हैं, जिन्हें रांची से भागलपुर जाते समय नशा करके लूट लिया गया है। इसके अलावा वनांचल एक्सप्रेस से भी तीन यात्रियों को अचेतावस्था में उतारकर इलाज के लिए भर्ती किया गया है। इनमें अबू शहिद, आतिफ और सलीम शेख शामिल हैं। इन यात्रियों को एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने बिस्किट खिलाकर बेहोश किया था और उन्हें याद नहीं रहता कि उन्हे इसके बाद क्या हुआ। इन युवकों का इलाज अभी भी चल रहा है और उन्हें होश आने के बाद ही मामले की जानकारी मिलेगी। इसके साथ ही साहिबगंज में एक कमरे में चल रही महिला थाना भी खोल दी गई है, जिसमें स्कूटी के भरोसे थाना प्रभारी हैं।
