In the last six months, 80,268 units of the Punch SUV have been sold, while only 39,499 units of the Hyundai Exter SUV have been sold in the last five months. Tata Motors has recently provided a CNG option in the Punch SUV, increasing its demand among customers. The base model of the Punch car starts from an ex-showroom price of 6 lakh rupees and goes up to 9.52 lakh rupees. The Punch SUV features a voice-activated electric sunroof, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, power adjustable exterior rear view mirror, touchscreen, automatic climate control, engine start-stop button, anti-lock braking system, alloy wheels, fog lights, power windows, and many more features.
Safety and Engine Specifications of Tata Punch
For passenger safety, the Punch SUV comes with standard features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defogger, rear parking sensors, rear-view camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The car also has a boot space of 366 liters. The Punch SUV is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that is capable of generating 88 bhp power and 115 Nm torque. The petrol variant of the Punch car gives a mileage of 20.09 Kmpl, while the CNG variant is capable of giving a mileage of 26.99 Kmpl.
