The weather department has issued an alert regarding the cold wave, advising people to avoid going outside unless necessary during late nights and early mornings. The western parts of the state are expected to experience the coldest temperatures. The capital city of Ranchi has also observed a slight drop in temperature, but the weather has since cleared up.
Impact of Cold Wave in Rural Areas
Rural areas, including several villages near Ranchi, are experiencing the greatest impact of the cold wave. The temperature has consistently remained below 5 degrees Celsius. On Monday, the temperature in Kanke, as recorded by the weather center at Birsa Agricultural University, reached a low of 4 degrees Celsius. In the urban areas of Ranchi, the minimum temperature has risen to 2 degrees Celsius. The control temperature in the capital has been recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius.

According to the weather center at Ranchi Airport, the temperature may rise on December 22nd. During this time, there may be fog in the morning, but the weather will remain dry. There is currently no possibility of rainfall. The minimum temperature is expected to range between 7 and 11 degrees Celsius. In rural areas, the temperature is expected to be 2 to 3 degrees lower than in urban areas.

झारखंड में शीतलहर का दौर चल रहा है। अधिकांश जिलों का तापमान 10 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास पहुंचा हुआ है। शीतलहर को लेकर मौसम विभाग ने अलर्ट जारी किया है और देर रात और अहले सुबह बहुत जरूरी न हो तो घर के बाहर निकलने से बचें। राज्य के पश्चिमी हिस्से में शीतलहर की पूरी संभावना है और रांची में तापमान सोमवार को 10.2 डिग्री सेल्सियस रिकार्ड किया गया। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के मुताबिक 22 दिसंबर को तापमान चढ़ सकता है और सुबह में कोहरा रह सकता है। फिलहाल बारिश की कोई संभावना नहीं है और न्यूनतम तापमान 7 से 11 डिग्री के बीच रह सकता है।
