Winter Vacation 2023 in Delhi: The temperatures in Delhi have dropped significantly due to snowfall in the hilly areas. To protect children from the cold, the Delhi government’s Education Department has announced winter vacation from January 1st to January 6th for all government and private schools. This year, the winter holidays are shorter compared to last year, as schools were previously closed due to pollution. All schools in Delhi will be closed for only six days.
No Announcement for Noida-Ghaziabad: There has been no announcement regarding winter vacation in Noida-Ghaziabad and Gurugram, which are adjacent to Delhi. Uttar Pradesh schools have not yet announced the dates for winter vacation. Last year, winter holidays were for a total of 15 days, from December 31st to January 14th. It is estimated that winter vacation will be in the middle of this year, although no official announcement has been made yet.
Winter Vacation in Rajasthan: Some parts of Rajasthan are experiencing extreme cold. Mount Abu has recorded sub-zero temperatures. The Rajasthan government has announced the dates for winter vacation in schools. Winter vacation has been declared from December onwards, although the duration of the vacation has not been specified. The Rajasthan Secondary Education Board (RBSE) stated on Monday that winter vacation in the state will begin in December.
Winter Vacation in Jammu: The Jammu Education Board has also announced winter vacation. All government and private schools in the state will remain closed from December 11th to February. For students up to class 8, schools will be closed from December 11th to February 29th, 2024. For students from class 9 to 12, holidays will be from December 18th to February.
वर्ष 2023 के शीतकालीन अवकाश के दौरान दिल्ली, उत्तर प्रदेश (यूपी), गाजियाबाद, नोएडा के स्कूलों में ठंड बढ़ गई है। दिल्ली सरकार के शिक्षा विभाग ने दिल्ली के सभी सरकारी और प्राइवेट स्कूलों को 1 जनवरी से 6 जनवरी तक शीतकालीन अवकाश की घोषणा की है। नोएडा-गाजियाबाद और गुरुग्राम में अभी तक अवकाश की तारीखें जारी नहीं की गई हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश के स्कूलों ने भी अभी तक अवकाश की तारीख नहीं घोषित की है। राजस्थान में भी मौसम की वजह से अवकाश की घोषणा हो गई है। जम्मू में भी स्कूलों को 11 दिसंबर से फरवरी तक बंद रखा गया है।
