Dheeraj Kumar, a resident of Madhepura city, transformed his life during the COVID pandemic by starting an online business. While working in Delhi for Paytm, he had to return home when the lockdown was imposed. During his time at home, he came up with the idea of starting ‘The Professor’s Kitchen Stall’ while watching a web series. Today, his chicken momos have become famous throughout the city.
Shadab Jauhar, who used to work for Paytm in Delhi, also had to come back home due to the lockdown. It was during this time that he watched a web series and got the idea to start his own startup. He decided to name it ‘The Professor’s Kitchen Stall’ after his father, who is a professor. Today, people come to his stall on Station Road in Madhepura to enjoy chicken momos.
To prepare the momos at Professor’s Kitchen, Shadab has called special chefs from Sikkim. Those who have tasted the delicious momos made by these chefs often come back for more. The stall offers vegetarian momos ranging from Rs. 30 to Rs. 130, and non-vegetarian chicken momos ranging from Rs. 50 to Rs. 150. It has become a favorite destination for momo lovers in the city.
धीरज कुमार यानी मधेपुरा के शादाब जौहर ने कोविड महामारी में अपनी जिंदगी को बदल डाला। उन्होंने लॉकडाउन के दौरान देखी वेब सीरीज के बाद उन्हें खुद को बदलने का आइडिया आया और वहीं पर खोल डाला ‘द प्रोफेसर किचन स्टॉल’। उनके यहां चिकन मोमोज खाने के शौकीनों की भीड़ लगी हुई है। वह मोमोज तैयार करने के लिए सिक्किम से स्पेशल कारीगर को बुलाते हैं। इससे पहले वह दिल्ली में पेटीएम में नौकरी करते थे, लेकिन लॉकडाउन के चलते उन्हें घर जाना पड़ा। अब उनका स्टॉल शहर के लोगों के बीच बहुत प्रसिद्ध हो चुका है।
