Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 49,000 soldiers in Jharkhand. The recruitment will be conducted by Jharkhand Employee Selection Commission. Under this recruitment, graduates or diploma holders from Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University will be given weightage in the merit list. Distinction holders will be given 10 marks, first division pass holders will be given 8 marks, second division pass holders will be given 6 marks, and pass holders will be given 4 marks. The online application will start from January 15 and the last date for application is February 14, 2024.
Important Dates for Application
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online applications from January 15 to February 14. Examination fee can be submitted until February 16. Candidates can rectify errors in the online application from February 20 to 22. There are 3,799 regular vacancies and 1,120 backlog vacancies in the recruitment. Examination Fee and Age Limit
The examination fee is Rs 100 for general category and Rs 50 for SC-ST category. The minimum age limit for candidates is 18 years. The maximum age limit for unreserved category is 25 years, 27 years for BC-I and BC-II, and 28 years for women. The maximum age limit for candidates in SC-ST category is 30 years.
