Explosion on Railway Track by Maoists in Jharkhand
According to reports, Maoists have detonated a bomb on the railway track between Goilakera and Posaita stations in the Chaibasa area of Jharkhand. This has disrupted the movement of trains on the Howrah-Mumbai railway line and several trains have been halted. Railway officials have confirmed the incident.
Maoists Carry Out Explosion to Show Their Influence
It is being reported that the Bhakpa (Maoists) have called for a nationwide strike today, December 22. The explosion was carried out by the Maoists to demonstrate their influence. It is said that the Maoists carried out the act of sabotage around 10 pm on Thursday night. After the information about the explosion on the railway track was received, the Shalimar-Kurla Express was stopped at Goilakera station.
Explosion Informed by a Goods Train Driver
The driver and guard of a goods train passing by the incident site were the first to notice the explosion on the track. They immediately informed the nearby railway station about the incident. As soon as the information was received, railway officials immediately stopped the movement of trains on the affected route. Senior railway officers were sent to inspect the scene of the incident.
