Launch of Yamaha R3 and MT-03 in India
Yamaha has recently launched its R3 and MT-03 bikes in India. The prices for the accessories of these bikes have now been revealed. The Yamaha R3 comes with only two types of accessories ★a seat cowl and a windshield kit. The seat cowl is available in two colour options ★blue and black. The windshield kit helps protect the rider from strong gusts of wind while riding. The Yamaha MT-03 comes with a seat cowl as an auxiliary tool.
Design of the Bikes
Both bikes have unique designs. The Yamaha R3 comes with a long windscreen, LED headlights, fairing, and a muscular fuel tank. The MT-03 has an aggressive look in the streetfighter with a single projector headlight and two DRL-like eyebrows. Both the latest bikes come with an LCD instrument cluster and a dual-channel ABS facility. For suspension, both bikes have disc brakes with upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the back.
Specifications and Pricing
The Yamaha R3 and MT-03 both have a 321cc, twin-cylinder engine with a power of 41.4ps. The torque is 29.5Nm for the R3 and 29.6Nm for the MT-03. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. The prices of the bikes are INR 4.64 lakh and INR 4.59 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The accessory seat cowl and windshield kit for the R3 are priced at INR 7,500 and INR 8,200 respectively, while the accessory seat cowl for the MT-03 is priced at INR 7,500.
Nissan’s Upcoming Price Hike
Nissan will be increasing the price of its Magnite compact SUV from next month in India. However, the company has not disclosed how much the increase will be. It is estimated that the hike could be up to 2% in line with other companies. The increase is being attributed to rising input costs and inflationary pressures. However, before the increase, the company is offering a discount of up to INR 97,550 on the Nissan Magnite this month.
