Adivasi Single Campaign Meeting in Meghi Village on the Occasion of Santali Paragana Establishment Day
A meeting of the members of the Adivasi Single Campaign was held in Mohla village of Meghi Panchayat in Boarijor block on the occasion of the establishment day of Santali Paragana. The meeting was chaired by Munna Soren, the paragana head of the campaign. During the meeting, Soren announced that as per the instructions of the central president of the campaign, Salakh Murmu, a nationwide strike will be organized on 30th December to demand recognition of the Sarna religion. He emphasized the need for everyone’s support to make the strike successful and highlighted the difficulties faced by the tribal community due to the denial of their religious code.
Importance of the Santal Paragana Establishment and the Need to Implement Protective Laws
Soren mentioned that Santal Paragana was established on 22nd December 1855 through the Sidho-Kanhu movement and was provided protection under the SPATI and CNT Act. He stressed the importance of enforcing these laws rigorously and highlighted the significance of the acceptance of the Ol Chiki script for the Santali language through the struggles of the central president of the campaign on 22nd December 2003. He stated that the rights and privileges of the Adivasi community can only be obtained through such movements and urged everyone to unite for a successful nationwide strike on 30th December.
Three Injured in Separate Incidents in Mahagama Police Station Area
In three separate incidents in the Mahagama police station area, three people were injured. In the first incident, Thithar Manjhi, a resident of Beltikari village, was seriously injured in an attack by Maveshi. He was referred to the Mahagama referral hospital for treatment. In the second incident, two individuals were injured when their bike lost balance near the Rajoun NTPC railway crossing. The locals helped them and they were taken to the Mahagama referral hospital by the Balbadda police patrol. The primary treatment was provided by the medical officer in charge, Sanjay Mishra. One of the injured, Ankit Kumar, was referred to Mayaganj for better treatment due to his critical condition.

The MLA of Godda raised the issue of the expansion of the Godda-Dumka-Ranchi intercity train.
मेघी पंचायत के मोहला गांव में संथाल परगना स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर आदिवासी सेंगल अभियान के सदस्यों की बैठक हुई। इस बैठक में अभियान के परगना मुन्ना सोरेन ने बताया कि उनके निर्देशानुसार 30 दिसंबर को सरना धर्म कोड की मांग को लेकर भारत बंद किया जाएगा। इसे सफल बनाने के लिए सभी का सहयोग आवश्यक है। उन्होंने इसके साथ ही संथाल परगना की स्थापना और संथाल भाषा की मान्यता को भी महत्व दिया और इसे एसपीटी व सीएनटी एक्ट का सुरक्षा कवच माना। उन्होंने आदिवासी समुदाय के लोगों के धर्म कोड की मांग को लेकर सभी को एकजुट होकर भारत बंद को सफल बनाने की अपील की। इसके साथ ही विभिन्न सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में तीन लोगों के घायल होने की खबर भी आई, जिसे स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत उठाया और उन्हें अस्पताल ले गए।
