The release was made possible only after the paper arrived from the Betiya Court.

Since Friday, when the news of his release from Patna’s Beur Jail came out, a large number of his supporters gathered outside. The situation became such that the police had to be called in as there was a traffic jam. Several cases, including the fake video case, were registered against him. During the search at his house, his gun was seized. During the gun seizure process on March 18, 2023, he surrendered. After that, the Tamil Nadu police took him with them. Currently, Kasyap is in Bihar Jail. On November 10, the Madras High Court cancelled the custody order against Kasyap. The court also dismissed the charges brought against him by the Tamil Nadu police under the NSA.
During the court appearance in September, Manish had said, “I am not a fodder thief, I am the son of a soldier.” During the appearance, Manish was quite angry. He had pointed towards Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son and Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. Manish had said, “I have been silent for 6 months, but in jail, I am placed among drug addicts and criminals. They blow smoke on my face.”
